Deacon Kenneth Nunn was appointed Chairman of Deacons and as such ensure the smooth operations of the church. Chairman Nunn is the proud husband of the Church Treasurer, Elizabeth Nunn, of 39 years. They have three sons, Kenneth Nunn Jr., Jeremy Nunn, and Aston Nunn and one daughter Lakendra Nunn. During his time outside of the church, Chairman Nunn works at San Bernard Electric Cooperative and has such for 32 years as an Apprentice Technician. He also spends his time as a High School Football Official and High School Softball Umpire for 20 years. With the dedication and hard work, he brings to the New Horizon family as well as warm personality, he has gone beyond the call of duty and has truly become a pillar of the church.
Sister Elizabeth Nunn was appointed Church Treasurer and has maintained the financial stability of the church. Treasurer Nunn is the proud wife of Chairman of Deacons, Kenneth Nunn, of 39 years. They have three sons, Kenneth Nunn Jr., Jeremy Nunn, and Aston Nunn and one daughter Lakendra Nunn. Treasurer Nunn spends her time outside of the church enjoying the life of a retired store manager. While she indulges in the occasional shopping trips, she has truly shown her financial expertise and has created a life long impact with in the financial structure of the church.
Sister Karen Houston was appointed Church Trustee and has since become a key factor in the prosperity and flourishment of New Horizons. Trustee Houston is the proud wife of Brother Wayne Houston. Beyond the doors of the church, Trustee Houston plays a vital role as a Regional Manager for LCJ Management. With such an extensive background in management, it came to no surprise at how well Trustee Houston transitioned into her position and how much of an impact she has made.
