As Pastor and Founder of NHBC, the vision that God has given me is to evangelize, empower, and equip the body of Christ with the same love that he has shown to the world by dying for our sins. To build a place of foundation, a place of fellowship, and a place build on faith where God will receive the glory, Jesus the Honor, and Holy Spirit a dwelling place to saturate the next generation in the faith-walk, we call Christianity.
Our First Family

He later went on to find and marry our First Lady Shemeka Bonds-Miller on June 4, 2006. First lady Shemeka Bonds-Miller is a former teacher, librarian and law assistant. With the skills and knowledge base she has gained from this as well as from years of experience she brings a unique view point and provides the perfect balance to Pastor Miller as well as a healthy contrast. She now devotes her time and attention to the wellbeing and advancement of the church as the Church Secretary as well as being the helpmate of the pastor, supporting him as he supports others. With them are two sons, Minister Shemaun Thomas-Miller and Deacon Jaylin Keeton-Miller.
His oldest son, Minister Shemaun Thomas-Miller, is a proud Cougar at the University of Houston - Main Campus, Hilton College, majoring in the field of Hotel/Restaurant Management. He was also appointed as the Lead Multimedia Specialist which he learned directly from his father. It was also Pastor Miller who guided and advised Minister Thomas-Miller as he began his ministerial journey. Once ordained, he continued to rely on Pastor Miller as his illustration of what it means to be a Man of God.
His youngest son, Deacon Jaylin Christopher Keeton-Miller, is a current student of Colorado Technical University majoring in the field of Broadcasting and Journalism. Although his position as deacon is there, his most loved and cherish position in the church is being the lead percussionist of the Music Ministry at New Horizons. Following his father’s love for music, Deacon Jaylin honed his craft and took up the role of assisting his father in the music ministry and even going on to instruct others. And it was due to this passion for helping others and being a support for the church that guided him to become an official deacon of the church on April 24, 2022.
Hobbies

During times of rest he enjoys his hobbies such as Gospel Music, Fishing, and Family Time (Movies, Dominoes). He also enjoys refining his crafts and skills in Graphic & Printed Art Design (Funeral Programs, Memorial Videos, and Event Flyers) which he does through his company, Miller Arts Graphics & Design Inc.
